Not very durableI used this product for land based training only. No exposure to water (swimming) or salt water. However in a year's time the snap failed. When i look back on the number of times I actually used the strap it was 38 times. Can a more durable strap be made? I would think the strap has to last longer than one year. I read a lot of other people having the same issue, is there a manufacturing defect?

It's okayThe original that came with the sensor is as pictured. That's the one I wanted. That's the reason I reason I ordered from here. The one I received is not what is pictured. Furthermore, the first time I wore the replacement, it already started to curl. The material is also thinner and not as sturdy. I will look elsewhere.

Poor qualityThe original strap that came with my TickR only last about a year before the metal snaps separated from the strap.

Great Replacement StrapBought this replacement strap for my Tickr as eventually all straps wear out. After 2 and a bit years of at least weekly use, my old strap was slipping and losing elasticity so have replaced and glad I have. No complaints but hope the replacement last longer

Follow up to previous postThe Bolt package was a gift, but after a couple rides the clips on the HR strap stopped holding the sensor. It would pop off easily. Tried the Chat, but nothing, tried to call, but just voice mail. I tried again the next day and had same result, so this time I left a voice mail and sent an email. Withing 24 hours I received a response about both. (nice surprise) They apologized for the issue and sent me a replacement. The clips on this new one are considerably better. The feel is firm. The strap and sensor stayed on without issue. Thank you for the support. Perhaps they have remedied the issue and the new ones will be better. I did not receive confirmation of anything like this, but seeing all the similar complaints, I imagine they are working on it.

Poor quality strapI had to purchase this strap because the one that came with my HRM broke after just over one year. The metal connector between the strap and the HRM separated. Seems like something like, this should last much longer.

New plastic backing causes rashThis is my third Wahoo strap after heavy sweat use. No issue really with the durability, but I don't have anything to compare it to. This third strap must be from a different factory, because the rubber/plastic grippers that keep it from sliding around gave me intense itchy rash the first time I wore it. This was never an issue with the first two I had.

Pedaling Papa from
The clips appear defectiveI have had the unit a month (yeah Father's Day). It was part of the bundle package. The computer (Bolt) is great!! However the heart rate strap unclips WAY too easily. Any manipulation of the strap causes the unit to unclip, and this is a huge hassle while riding the bike. Not sure if I would recommend this product. Have called in to customer support several times and finally left a message...nobody ever appears to be "live". Even the Chat option was a dud.
